Viewers are invited through the perspective of an animated blogger where she is wrongfully condemned by a person who spreads rumors and lies. It sheds light on how a single comment can spiral into a cascade of misinformation. Ying also incorporates real life events from celebrities and idols into her work. It is important to note that celebrities often receive this amount of treatment from the public. For instance, Dannyi, a Chinese celebrity who was subjected to online abuse, inspired Ying to create this work. We, as humans, should not spread misinformation that can cost other people’s lives.
